* Short and stocky boy with the best ears * Has been very scared and overwhelmed in the shelter environment * Slowly coming out of his shell and learning to trust some of his favorite staff members and volunteers * Seems to prefer women over men (takes longer to warm up to men) * Once in his bestie club, he is very affectionate and loving * Loves to zoom around in the play yard with toys- tennis balls are a favorite * Brings the toy back for another toss and will even nudge you with it * Curious of other dogs when introduced, but was very anxious and stiff * He chose to disengage from the dog and go about his business * Would do best with a calm, respectful dog friend and very slow introductions * Happy and curious meeting cats, but still nervous * Requires an adult only home * Quiet home with minimal visitors preferred *Tested positive for heartworms at his intake exam- will require treatment in his new home Andy American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier mix Male DOB: 11/20/2017 Weight: 50 lbs.
