This handsome 1-2 year old lad is new to the rescue and is currently recovering from the procedure which should make him a little less interested in the ladies...lol. He has been evaluated by the vet and while healthy, he needs time, grooming and a good diet, to become even more stunning than he is currently. He had been on the run a few weeks prior to being taken in by a good Samaritan for a little over a week. Efforts to try and locate owners through many avenues were exhausted and he had neither collar with tags nor microchip to help us get him home. He now has both and the fleas and ticks that had hitched a ride eradicated and is super jazzed about indoor living. He gets along with other dogs of all sizes. However, his play can be a little too much for tiny dogs as he likes to bounce around like a pogo stick when he plays. He is scared of loud noises and sudden movements but this will get better the longer he lives in doors and gets used to the new sounds. He does ride well in a car and will jump right on in however, his tummy can get upset and he may drool. He walks on a leash but appears not to have done it much and needs some more practice. He is working on house breaking and does not hike his leg in doors. He is a good eater and is currently eating dry kibble only (supplemented with biscuit and freeze dried treats).
