Meet Andrew! 3 year old Andrew “Andy” was rescued from a shelter and was terribly matted. He was bathed and trimmed and we took him in as a foster. We believe that he’s a “Maltie”, a westie Maltese Mix. He’s very loving and very laid back. Andrew is quite an easy-going fellow who doesn’t require much care. He loves to hang out beside you whether it be in bed or on the couch. He adores humans and will follow you around if you call for him. He plays well with others and enjoys chasing the other dogs in a hearty game of tag. He’s not bothered by squirrels or birds like the other westies and I don’t believe I’ve heard him bark at all. He’s very content to stay inside and lounge about. Andrew is a great lap dog! He’s housebroken and uses a doggie door. He sleeps all night in a crate although he’d much rather be in bed beside you. He’s quite a happy little guy and his tail is always wagging. He’s so cute to come home to as he runs up to say hello with the cutest little face! He’ll make a wonderful companion dog for some lucky adopter.

Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of 10, please do not apply for this dog.
