Andre is a beautiful and very sweet, naturally good-natured 2-year-old Boxer mix. He might look a little intimidating, but he loves to roll over on his back for petting and would like to sit in your lap if he wasn't so big. He also gives occasional kisses! He's mellow in the home provided he gets enough exercise; He LOVES to play with other dogs and has a lot of energy, so he would do best in a home with other young(ish) dogs and plenty of room to play inside and out. Andre is in heaven at the dog park and hasn't appeared to meet a dog he didn't like (he particularly likes the little ones!) He is OK with cats once he gets to know them and he's good with children. Andre is crate-trained and housebroken so long as he gets frequent trips outside. He has no interest in fetch or toys but give him a bone and you've made him the happiest dog on Earth! Andre doesn't mind when you touch his paws, mouth, or ears for grooming. Because he is still young, Andre is going to require some consistent training especially in the walking department. He is learning 'sit' and 'lay down' nicely and generally has very good house manners with people around. He rarely barks when indoors with his people, but left outside alone he will bark at alarming sounds or when people approach. Andre is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all shots.
