Anderson (foster or adopt)

We rescued ANDERSON and his sister HAZEL from one of our partner shelters who is out of space and having to euthanize and they will be arriving via transport this weekend - they're both a year old and were very nervous in the shelter environmen, but with the diligent with of volunteers there, you can see Anderson come out of his shell and open up! All they really want is to be loved and know they're safe. Anderson is 40-45 lbs and his sister Hazel who looks similar but without the white on her face is 35-40. We'd call them a houndy labby shepherd mix of some sort, but they're both beautiful dogs who definitely have great potential with some patience and love. They did well with kids the volunteers brought to the shelter to interact with the dogs. They're fully vetted except for neuter/spay which is scheduled after they arrive, and is included in the adoption fee at our vet even if their adoption happens before that's completed. We'll put up more pics and share more first-hand info as soon as their foster sends to us. Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue. We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
