Meet Anchorage!! 3yr old male Siberian Husky Anchorage found himself at a high kill shelter. Paws and Claws was preparing to save him when amazingly he was adopted, yay! Well, fast forward a couple of months and Paws and Claws staff just happened to see this dog posted for re-homing and, if a home wasn't found in a couple of days, he was going back to the kill shelter. Paws and Claws staff immediately recognized Anchorage because how can you NOT! He is stunning. The landlord was making the family get rid of Anchorage for no apparent reason. So, this time, Paws and Claws made sure to intervene before he ended up in a shelter. Now we need to get this gorgeous lad to a foster or adopter! Anchorage is playful and good with other dogs. He is high energy and friendly to people, but can be protective of the woman in the home. We are sending him to board and train for this reason, so he will be available with a new outlook on life in the next few weeks!
