Amy is an adorable little Silky Terrier girl who will steal your heart! She is absolutely gorgeous. She loves attention and being close to you. She gets along well with other dogs and would do great with a doggie companion.

Amy was rescued from a commercial breeder situation. This means she's spent most of her life in a cage. She is very shy and will need an experienced dog owner who will have the patience and time to devote to help her adjust to a home and show her what love means. She would probably do best in a home with no small children since she is so shy.

Amy is spayed, up to date on her routine shots including distemper, bordatella and rabies, and also had a dental and is microchipped. She was tested heartworm negative. Her foster home is working on her housetraining with her. This wonderful, loving little girl would love to be your true companion for years to come!

Orphan Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is a newly formed no-kill, volunteer-run nonprofit organization that is dedicated to changing the lives of homeless pets and helping people in need in Northeast Wisconsin.


We are a small network of foster-care homes that takes in abandoned, neglected and abused homeless animals, primarily from other rescues and shelters. We care for these pets in our homes until they are adopted, or, if they require lifelong care, we provide them sanctuary.
