Amos

Amos is a large 6 year old Husky who's ready to find his perfect match. He's a talkative fella who will greet you with a soft awoooo and happy wiggle. Though he's quite curious of the world and independent by nature, he is also affectionate and will happily snuggle up to you for some love. Amos has been primarily an outside boy so he would really appreciate a home that can fulfill his love for the outdoors. His favourite hobbies include sunbathing, hanging out with his favourite people, and being the lead singer of the shelter dog choir. Amos does need to work on his leash walking skills as he is a strong boy who likes pull wherever he pleases at the moment. And though he has pretty good manners and is friendly when interacting with people, he has a very high prey drive and can not be around small animals. For this reason, he will need someone that can keep in under control and not let him off lead around animal populated areas. With that said, he has lived with another dog before and has been good with some dogs similar to his size on controlled walks.
