I'm a very happy boy. I make friends wherever I go. I don't care if they are the human or the canine variety, they're all my best friends! I had a loving family until some misfortunes led to some changes in their circumstances. They did the difficult thing and gave me up for my own good. I wasn't sure what was going on as I'd lived with them since I was a little puppy. But I am enjoying life in my foster home. I am playing with the resident dogs and just living it up! By the way, I'm guessing you'd never know that I am technically a senior since I am ten years old. I have a clean bill of health. Everyone keeps commenting on how I look so much younger and have a lot more energy than seniors they've known. I just know that life is to be enjoyed and I'm doing a fine job of that! Of course I'm housetrained and I know basic obedience and hunting commands. I'm crate trained, too. I'm gentle and sweet and loving and just so happy to be able to live inside with a family again. As befits my breed, I'm a bit of a goofball. I have a permanent smile on my face and my tail never stops wagging!

We require an application, phone interview, and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed.
