Hello there, I'm America Grace. My mommy was a Boston Terrier and they think my Daddy was a poodle making me a unique blend of adorable cuteness with little to no shedding! I've got a heart full of love and a spirit that's playful, yet a tad shy. When I'm not exploring with my curious nose, I love to expend my energy playing with my dog and cat pals. Kids are my friends too! I'm always friendly and gentle with them. I must admit, I do have a knack for adventure, but with a secure yard, I promise to stay put. I am 2 years old, weigh 18 lbs, come fully UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and I am HW neg! Adopting me means gaining a loyal, sweet companion who will bring joy and fun to your home. His/her increased adoption fee will allow them to act as a benefactor to other dogs in our care that require special medical care and a better chance at adoption. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information. 2022 Benefactor Adoption Fee Scale: Benefactor Puppies under 12 months - $550 Benefactor Dogs over 12 months - $450 *Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
