AMBROSIA HAS BEEN ADOPTED! THANKS BENSON FAMILY OF MA! Ambrosia is one of 3 Terrier mixes currently calling the shelter home. Ambrosia came to the shelter as a stray after her and her 2 pals Lydia and Pixie were found in the 1760/Brookside Road/Georges Creek area of Lawrence County. A couple in the area heard a car stop, slam the door and then speed away one night and the next morning they found 3 precious girls on their porch. AFter 3 wks and no one claiming them, they were brought to the shelter in hopes of finding them forever homes. Ambrosia is estimated at 1 year of age and sweet as sugar. She has a pretty auburn coat that is scruffy in texture (or wiry some would say). She is small in size, weighing around 15 lbs. though the pictures make her look bigger than she is. She is a quiet dog and looks at you with loving eyes. Ambrosia would make someone a wonderful house companion. She will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, rabied prior to leaving the shelter.
