This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. Thank you!** Meet Alyssa Abby (from the ABBY litter)- a 4 month old, Mountain Dog Mix girl, who comes to us as a stray from Tennessee. This playful, little cutie weighs 29 lbs (as of 6/2/24). These pups were born on 1/25/24. The ABBY pups were found in an abandoned building this winter, and were brought to the shelter so they had a chance at survival. Their mama has done a wonderful job with them, and we just gave them an extra boost!! They are a cute mixture of colors and personalities. Their mom is a mountain dog mix and we have no idea who their dad was, so we aren't sure if they will have any prey drive. They are a fun group of puppies and are getting along with other dogs just fine! His foster shares: "Alyssa is the biggest of the sisters from this litter, and is full of play. She just likes to have a good time with the other pups. She likes to be held, but then will quickly want to go back to playing and exploring. She definitely has FOMO and never wants to miss out on the action! She has a wonderful personality and will be a great addition to any family!" It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
