Hey there, I'm Alpha, the spirited island pup, that began my journey on the streets of Honduras, where I had to fend for myself. But fate had other plans for me, and before I knew it, I found myself at Big Dog Ranch Rescue. They saved me! Let me tell you a bit about myself-I've got energy to spare and love to go on walks! But hey, I'll admit it-I can be a bit mouthy when I get excited. That's why I think I'd be best suited for older kids, around 13 and up, who can handle my energy with ease. Since I've never been in a home with humans before, I may take just a little bit til I warm up to you. Once I do though, I'm a total cuddle bug. Now, when it comes to other dogs, I'll admit I can be a bit wary at first. And I prefer to be in charge. But with a proper introduction, I'll get along just fine. In fact, I just need a little time to warm up, that's all, as you can see I have some wonderful roommates that I love already! So there you have it-me, Alpha just an island pup, ready to make some memories with you.
