My Story

Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Alma-Jo. She is a Foxhound/Redbone Coonhound mix born to Anna-lee on Jan 24/2022. Alma-Jo enjoys playing with all the other dogs in the home and her toys. She is fed in her crate, and is fed Royal Canin Medium Breed Adult food. This gal is typical of a hound in every way. She is food motivated, loves to climb, but is as sweet as can be. Alma-Jo loves playing in the yard. She is an explorer and is always checking everything out. She loves to play chase with other dogs outside in her foster home. Any toy is her favourite but she dislikes sharing with the other canines. She will counter surf when not home so she should be crated when no one is home. She is a mid-energy gal and is now a beautiful deep Red colour. Alma-Jo requires further leash training. She is affectionate and loves everyone, regardless of age Cuddling with her humans is a favorite pastime. She has not been exposed to cats but due to her breed mix, will assume she has a prey drive. She is fully vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, on flea tick prevention, and microchipped. A fully fenced backyard, having a minimum of 6 feet high wooden fencing, and a Veterinarian History of Compliance is mandatory to apply for this litter. Another well-socialized dog in the home is mandatory as well. Visit barksandmeows.ca for an online application. Available to Ontario Residents only!!!
