This sweet beautiful girl is Allie, a 2-1/2 y/o, 44#, small, red-nosed, pittie. HW-, chipped, fully vaxed. Currently in a foster home.
If circumstances were different her foster would definitely keep her, because Allie is just that wonderful. But her foster mom’s health unfortunately won’t let that happen.
Allie is mostly laid back and loves to be near humans, being cuddly & loving, or sunning herself alone outside.
But she can also be playful at times. She gets about one zoomie attack a day. Sometimes, she takes a toy outside and runs around the yard all by herself throwing it in the air and catching it. 4 minutes later, she’s back inside and whooped.
She loves walks, but only has the stamina to make it around one or two blocks. She would NOT make a good running or hiking buddy. LOL!
She is fully house-trained, uses a doggie door, and is very well behaved. She knows sit, shake, & wait. And has taken classes with a trainer to help with manners during walks.
She can play a little rough if she’s excited, so a home without small children is recommended. At this point, she would do best in a home as the only dog, as she seems very dog selective. But her foster mom will pay for 2 sessions with her trainer to see if she is a good fit with your current pup.
A home with a large, well-secured, fenced, yard, & a guarantee that she will be an inside dog, is a MUST!
No crates for her, as that would cause fear and anxiety from her time in the animal shelter. However, she is very well behaved being loose in the house, even when left home alone.
She does not get along with cats or other small animals.
She is anxiously awaiting her forever home and her forever family. I know if you meet her, you will fall in love. A short-term trial period would be allowed for serious and vetted potential adopters.
