My Story

*** ALFIE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION BY APPLICATION ONLY *** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ALFIE PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION HERE: www.sspca.org/Alfie Alfie is a 9-year old, 91-pound Akita seeking a breed-savvy home. True to his breed Alfie is a loyal, noble dog who tends to be aloof with new people. If you give him time to build a relationship, you will be rewarded with a truly special doggie friend! Alfie is low-medium energy and walks well on leash. He is reportedly house-trained. We are hoping to find a home for Alfie with someone who has previous knowledge or experience with Akitas. Alfie is looking for an adult-only home without other pets. While he may do well meeting new dogs in social settings, he is not interested in sharing his space with a doggy roommate. If you are interested in adopting Alfie, please fill out an application: www.sspca.org/Alfie or send email to [email protected] for more information. (This listing is to help assist direct placements of rescues that are currently with other rescue groups, shelters or their current owners.
