Alf

Alf is a sassy little dog with a big personality and a lot of ideas! He came to us after his owner passed away & as there was no one to take him and his 16 y/o housemate, Yorkie/Silky Terrier mix sweetie pie "Jaxx".. We got a call about these two and knew they were going to do well here getting all the love and care they needed.  Alf is playfully puppyish and in spite of, or perhaps because of his diminutive size walks around here like he owns the place!! He keeps everyone on time with delivering services.. be it dinner time, walkies, play time or cuddle time by sounding his bark alerts!! Alf has wonderful little play moves and can hop and leap like a young pup..  He really enjoys trotting around the farm sticking his nose in everyone's business or off in his happy dog place sniffing and exploring the great big world around him! He is a happy little dude and has a way of enjoying himself to the max!!  He seems to fancy people more than dogs though he tolerates old Jaxx very well. He doesn't mind when Jaxx crashes into him or takes his bed... other dogs he hasn't shown much interest in. He shares living quarters with a wee little Pom lady named Shelby.. sweet as the day is long but he is just not that into her! We sense in time Alf could develop some doggie friends, but it appears for now it's not a priority! He is a people person! It's clear to us he had his former owner wrapped around his paw!!  We are all delighted by this ridiculous little man who has brought much life, love and amusement into our lives.
