A SWEET & ACTIVE GIRL: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 26 lbs. Hi there! My name is Alexa! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I immediately started charming the volunteers who come to care for me. I’m so glad to be part of the MM family and can’t wait to find a furever family of my very own – hopefully soon! I’m currently in the foster/prison training program offsite and learning a lot! Please call 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’d like to be your only dog as I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and was very reactive toward them. / Cats unknown. / I met kids around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and I sure did like them, so if you have kids around that age, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over as I’m a lot of puppy fun! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet and playful girl who is an energetic bundle of fun! I do everything with gusto – playing, eating and loving people. I was a ‘perfect angel’ for my shelter bath. My playfulness is never far behind though, as I followed up my bath with some fun rolling around in the towels – lol. I am still a puppy and do like to play with you using my mouth, but you can distract me with a toy. I have a happy nature and express my joy with lot of tail wags. / My energy level is 6-8, so get ready to be active with your new best buddy! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I already know the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands, and I can’t wait to learn lots more! Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits were good in a temp. foster home I visited where I was let outside frequently. I’ve had a few accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being active and having FUN! Toys are great, and I am sure there are some great play sessions in our future. I can also entertain myself with a toy if you are working on something. As mentioned above, I do all things with gusto – and that includes eating, so a slow feeder is recommended at mealtime. Ready to relax, you say? Save a spot next to you, because I will stretch out to welcome those great belly rubs and snuggles. I’d love a family member who can match my energy level and give me all the love I am ready to give to you! I also ride well in the car, and love going for walks (even in the rain, lol!) so let’s go on lots of adventures. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
