Albert Einstein

My name is Albert, but my foster Dad nicknamed me Einstein because he liked the way my hair sticks up. I have a funny haircut, but that is because I am a bit afraid of the clippers. The folks at Oklahoma Westie Rescue are going to work with me and try to get me over my fear. I am just 2 years old, but found myself in a shelter in Missouri through no fault of my own. I was really scared. A really nice man came in and got me and took me away to a place called "Arkansas" and then someone else picked me up from him and took me to a place called "Stroud" and then another nice lady took me to yet another place called "Oklahoma City". Boy was I tired when I got there! I was still pretty scared, but these folks were just so nice and there were so many happy doggies around that I figured out real quick that it was a great place for pups!

My foster Mom and Dad are really nice and I like to sit on their laps and cuddle. I like my foster brother too! My new house has a doggie door that I use to go out and play and go potty. I am mostly potty trained but I forget sometimes. A guy can't remember everything, can he?

I like to walk on a leash and I LOVE the water. I love to play in the swimming pool and I even play in the pool while it is raining. The only bad thing is that when I do that, my foster Mom gives me a BATH. I like baths, but not as much as playing in my pool. I like to be brushed, but not as much as playing in the pool…or the sprinkler. Albert Einstein is a calm dog and oh so sweet and did I mention he likes to play in his pool? Please consider giving him the forever home he deserves.

P.S. New family MUST purchase a kiddie pool for Albert.

Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of 10, please do not apply for this dog.
