Albert

Albert is a 7 year old Shih Tzu who was found as a stray the beginning of December in the Toronto Area. He was very sick with a upper respiratory virus and is now fully recovered. Albie is neutered, fully vetted, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned and has been groomed since "picture day". This little man has a delightful nature and is funny, sweet, engaging and clever. In other words; he's quite a character! We love him to bits. He gets on well with other dogs, is house trained, not destructive when left alone and quiet. Best home for Albert would be with someone who is home at least part of the day because he loves company even if it's just to cuddle up with and have a nap. If you have another small dog, great - he gets on fine with all the dogs he has encountered and likes to play with the smaller ones. He doesn't walk that well on his leash, he hangs back but with positive encouragement, he comes along. Be warned, taking him for a walk could take longer than expected!
