She had been in a shelter for a year waiting for that special someone to take her home and show her the love that she deserves. She is now in a foster home and still waiting for that special someone to give her a home. Men tend to intimidate her sometimes until she figures out that they aren’t going to hurt her. She is quick to warm up to women and once she bonds with someone she becomes that person’s shadow. She’s fearful at times, but nothing that some love and patience can’t fix. Alaska gets along well with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. There’s a 10 month old baby in her foster home, too. She’s crate trained, in fact, a crate is a must in her future home because she loves it so much. Because she is such a laid back, mellow, low energy girl she would do well in just about any home.
