Alani

If you come meet Alani (Jett), this very trusting puppy will assume you're his new best friend. To him, no humans are strangers. They're all lovable and he wants to give them kisses! Jett is a playful and energetic dog who loves to run and play with other dogs. Now in foster care with his brother, Alani is a very gentle boy who loves getting his foster mom's attention. He's having fun playing fetch, bringing the tossed toy back and dropping it at her feet for another toss. And he likes playing with his ball and rope. He's a little shy when he first sees other dogs, but gets along well with them. The foster's cat is more interested in him than he is in the kitty. He's also nice to his foster's 4- and 9-year-old granddaughters, never jumping up on them. He enjoys leash walks and does just some slight pulling. He's both house and kennel trained, making him a well-adjusted companion. He's also doing well and eating meals in a crate that's open in a room with a door that closes when it's quiet time. He's staying there nicely with his brother when his foster is away. A very smart boy, he's very trainable and is already learning to answer "sit." Jett's playful spirit and love for other dogs make him a great addition to an active home. This very easy-going pup will love a home with parents who work from home or are there a lot and can continue his training. He should love sharing it with children, a dog buddy and maybe even a kitty. Come meet him. He'll give you a kiss and follow you home!
