Hey there, everyone! I'm Alana, a happy, alert, saucy, snuggly 7-pound blonde-and-white wirehaired Chihuahua mix gal who was born about January 2023. I’ve got the ears of a sassy, confident Chihuahua and the blonde goggles of a brave superhero. I get along with adults and kids as well as other dogs. I'm a friendly, affectionate lass who's very sociable. Cuddling in someone's lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time. Chihuahuas are touted as "the tiny dogs with huge personalities" (who can rule the home like a little Napoleon without proper training). Be sure not to make the mistake of thinking, since I'm a little lap dog, that I don't require training and exercise. My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I'd relish a little daily exercise for my mental and physical well-being. Nothing would make me happier than for you to invest your time and energy into treating me like a big dog. Sadly, I'm looking for a new home because, due to my beloved owner’s medical condition, she can no longer walk and therefore can't take care of me. I'm bummed because I really love her as well as Sigurd, the Portuguese Water Dog/ Flat Coated Retriever mix who has been my bonded canine partner. (We’re like Mutt and Jeff!) In case you're looking for a bundle of love the size of a minute, I'm your gal! If you come to meet me today, I hope that you'll take me home in your purse! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. By the way, although we're available separately, nothing would make me happier than to be adopted together with Sigurd so that we could stay together. Alana is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $400 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
