My Story

We have WEEKLY transports to the northeast! If you find a pyr you love, you can have him/her home that week or the following! Meet Akira, a Great Pyrenees girl looking for her forever home. Akira is house trained, loves her walks, and rides well in the car. She is crate trained and knows her basic commands. She is happy to lay around quietly while you work from home (for the most part). She enjoys affection and cuddles. Akira is easy and content with a daily walk and while she sometimes pulls on the leash during the walks, she is easily corrected. Akira loves to play with male and female dogs but can be an only dog. She does not like cats. A confident leader familiar with Pyr's traits and behavior would be beneficial to her while continuing her training. Akira would do well in a semi-active family with or without older kids, and a securely fenced yard to run and play. Here's what one of our adopters says about our ability to match dogs: - "I am not sure what very real MAGIC you have from across the continent, but I really love it. You have done it again! Another love match!- Thank you for four out of five Pyrenees coming from GPRS and each of them have been perfect for us.… And for each other! One month together and “Lady“is healing and happy. Thank you for all of your very hard work. Keep honing your intuition … it is spot on!" ....Julie P ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206.
