Sweet Ajay is ready to be lovedand goodness, does he need it! Ajay was rescued from living outside 24/7 in a chain link fence. He successfully escaped from his horrible fate but at the price of wounding the top of his neck. Luckily, AJay is resilient and has fully healed and his hair is almost fully grown back. While he has had a rough start in life, he is working hard to embrace the love and goodness that life has to offer. This 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix has a beautiful tan and fawn colored coat with beautiful, dark brown eyes. Ajay currently weighs 14 pounds and may grow a little with more TLC here at Home for Good Dog Rescue. Ajay can be a shy boy who can be a bit nervous at first. He appreciates time to explore and sniff around while walking on a leash so he can really map out the neighborhood. Once he gets his bearings, Ajay truly comes to life and is such a joy. He loves to give hugs and give wonderful kisses. Ajay is very observant and loves to window watch or binge some TV. He will lean into you, give you big kisses, and embrace the safety your arms have to offer and when you're ready, he will race you to the kitchen for lunch time. Ajay just asks for a little bit of patience at first so that he can blossom into his fun and silly self! Ajay would do well around older kids who can respect his boundaries while acclimating, along with other dogs and cats. He is now enjoying life knowing he is safe and loved, all he is hoping for is a forever family! Come meet Ajay and make his whole day!
