Hello! My name is AJ. I’m an 8 year old girl and weigh about 12 lbs. In my previous life I was a breeder dog so I’m a bit timid and will need someone with patience that will help me adjust and become confident in my new home. My foster mom says I’ve made a lot of progress. My potty manners are usually pretty good, but still have an occasional accident. I do know how to use the dog door. I learned that quite quickly! I like to roll around on the carpet and play with my hooman sister’s scrunchies. I love having my ears and booty scratched. I get along with other dogs but I don’t really play with them, they’ve just been teaching me how to be a dog. I love to eat and sleep in my bed. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
