You: kind human who loves to give belly rubs, play tug, cuddle on the couch and enjoys company for all household activities. Me: lovable good boy seeking a forever family to call my own. I’ve had a long road to recovery when I was pulled by Take Paws from a rural shelter with severe malnutrition, liver injury and a bunch of heartworms. But with the attentive love and care of great fosters, I’ve gained weight, my liver has healed and I’m halfway through my heartworm treatment. At about a year and half I’m full grown (except for the extra pounds I still need to gain) but I still have the heart of a puppy who’s learning to control my energy when I get excited. I love all humans instantly, including kids, and will greet with kisses and tail wags. I like other dogs too, but I need a slow intro when new dogs come into my home. Cats are a big no for me because they are just too fun to chase! I got a second chance at a good life when I came in to take paws and all I want is to share it with people that will spoil me with all the love I deserve. I am super affectionate and do great out and about town. I still have some healing to do and need to be neutered so right now I’m looking for someone wanting to do a foster-to-adopt. I’ve been through a lot in my short life but you’d never know it with my goofball attitude and instant love for anyone I meet.
