Addie

Addie is a beautiful, 2 & 1/2 year old, 45 lb retriever mix. She is medium-sized and has a happy disposition. She enjoys running around a fenced yard, playing with doggie friends, and going for long walks. Once she has gotten some energy out she is good in the house and will follow you around and snuggle. She loves all people, does well with older children (10 up) and seems to love most dogs. Her fosters have been teaching her to walk well on leash and commands like sit, stay, but she will need continued training to be the best dog she can be. She has some fears - garbage trucks and loud noises - and does not love riding in the car. She is housetrained and move-in ready. She would love a forever home with people who will appreciate all the love she has to give. We think she would do best with a fenced yard, perhaps another dog to play with (or neighbor dogs and/or play groups), and dog experienced people who are willing to invest time in training her.
