Hi, my name is Adam! I'm around a year old, tipping the scales at nearly 50 pounds of pure energy and joy. I'm a cute dark gray mix breed, and let me tell you, I am FAST. When I get out of my kennel and finally have the chance to stretch my legs, I am zooming all over the place! I can't help it--I have so much energy bottled up from being cooped up that when I first get out, I'm like a whirlwind. But hey, can you blame me? I don't get to run enough, and I've got a lot of zest for life to burn off. People always say I'm a really sweet boy, and it's true. I absolutely love being around humans, soaking up all the affection I can get. My high energy can sometimes be a bit much for my dog playmates, but that's just because I'm so excited to play and make friends. I've got a peppy personality that shines through, no matter what. Even though my circumstances aren't the greatest, I'm always happy, with my tail wagging and my heart full of hope. I love getting affection, running around like the wind, going on walks to explore new places, and of course, getting treats. Oh, how I love treats!
