ACHILLES

This adorable pup is Achilles! He ended up as a lost boy at the shelter on 7/26, and no one has come to reclaim him. Achilles has a bit of a sad story and he needs out of the shelter ASAP. You see, he ended up on someone's porch looking for help as he was limping and non-weight bearing on his right rear leg. The finder mentioned that he was a super sweet boy and good with the kids in the family. Upon intake at the shelter and X-rays, they discovered that Achilles has a torn ligament in his ankle. A rescue for Achilles is ideal so they can determine the necessary steps to get him back to 100%. A dedicated adopter will need to speak to a shelter supervisor before adopting to ensure Achilles receives proper treatment and care. Unfortunately, the shelter is very crowded, and that's never a good thing for the pups with urgent medical needs. Please help us to make sure this pup's story doesn't end at the shelter! Can you be his hero? Achilles is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 38 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption.
