My Story

(updated pictures coming soon) Ace is 1.5 yr old St. Bernard boy. He is a VERY large boy. He came in to the local city shelter as a stray, very underweight. Even still he weighs about 120lb and could stand to put on at least 20-40lbs. This handsome gentle giant will be coming to us for adoption on 9/18/07, this doesn't mean you can't put an application on him. If you are interested please contact us today for an application at [email protected] and be the first family this boy meets when he's available. Ace is heartworm negative, started on heartworm/flea preventative, current on vaccinations and will be neutered prior to adoption. Update 9/21/07: Ace is turning out to be the sweetest lug! Ace is so funny, he loves tummy rubs and makes grunting sounds when you find that special spot. Call us today Ace would love to show you where it is! Please remember---- If you are wanting: •Heavy and powerful, with a thick furry coat •Steady-tempered with everyone •Loves pulling carts and sleds and romping in cold weather •Responsive to training in a slow, good-natured way A Saint Bernard may be right for you. If you can’t deal with: •A very bulky dog who takes up a lot of space in your house and car •A heavy dog who wants to sit on your feet, lie on your lap, and lean his weight against your leg •Rowdiness and exuberant jumping when young •Some stubbornness, especially in males •Heavy shedding •Slobbering and drooling A St Bernard may not be right for you. 9/19/2007: UPDATE: Ace is now with us and unfortunately after having spent over a week at the local city shelter he has come to us in worse condition. He has probably lost another 10lbs and has matts and bilateral eye infections. Obviously we are working hard to get this boy back into shape. If you are interested in adopting or maybe even fostering this big lug then contact us today. 9/24/07: Ace has been all washed up and we have removed the large matt from his tail. He is doing very well and is scheduled to be neutered on Friday.
