Meet Ace!! This Handsome boy is a red & white, 14 wk old Red Heeler Mix, weighing 30 lbs. His mother is a Red Heeler who is living with it's owner who asked us to help place these pups as they were and unexpected litter. Mommy has now been spayed and the father is believed to be a Chow or Chow Mix b/c the pups' fur is longer than a typical lab's. However Ace has no purple on his tongue and his face does not look chow-ish. His personality is all lover boy. Ace has a medium activity level and loves to play with toys and be petted. He is crate and housetrained and is very friendly & social with all people and does just fine with cats. If this adorable sweet boy is right for your home please apply for him today. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
