Abner is a handsome, happy-go-lucky fella - Black and Tan mix, 2 years old, who currently weighs 42 lbs. He is house-broken, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, gets along with dogs and kids, and rides well in the car. Abner is now enjoying his freedom romping in the yard and taking neighborhood walks since he was rescued from being tethered to a tree. He lives harmoniously with several dogs and kids. If you are interested in adopting Abner, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
