My Story

In New England ! Abigail Is an 8 year old spayed female Black German Shepherd . She has unfortunately found herself homeless three times in her life due to three sets of owners having age related health issues that made it impossible to properly care for Abby. Abby is a healthy, very fit, active and agile eight years. She loves taking car rides and keeping you company at home. She has been basic obedience trained and enjoys working . She enjoying taking fun fast laps around the yard but also knows how to settle and be a calm companion. Abby has participated in group obedience classes and enjoys taking walks. Abby did not have much dog exposure early on so she can be dog selective but might do ok In a home with a stable larger male dog. She can also do fine in a home with no other animals. Abby can be left home for an average working day time period . Abby is crate, house broken and leash trained . She has a great appetite and is food driven . Abigail is in general, a sweet personality but has shown typical breed related owner protection/ home territorial tendencies in the past, when paired with owners not familiar with the breed and training needs. Abby has no bite record . At this time Abby has no known children or cat experience, so we will be recommending a home without as a precaution . Approved applicants may speak to Abagails trainer.
