Abel is a stray from Floyd County who is around 5 years old. This handsome guy has super long ears. He loves being with his 'person', but also enjoys his 'alone time' snoozing on a nice fluffy bed in his crate. We are working on Abel's food aggression issue and potty training (he's a smart guy and has come a long way in ten days). Abel would do best in a home as an only dog or with a submissive dog. Someone with dog experience is preferred---if left to his own devices, Abel would rule the world! Abel is a good boy, but because he is overly-protective of his food, he cannot be placed in a home with small children.
