Abe

Abe's x-rays show a chronic dislocated elbow; per vet, he recommends leaving it alone due to not being painful, if later the pet becomes painful or develops arthritis then the pet may need an amputation; Update 7/16 This baby is doing great! A volunteer spent some time with Abe, and here's what they said: "Abe is a loving, affectionate pup who is looking for a family of his own. This fella has the most stunning coat and will grow up to be a very handsome boy! He does have a limp but he doesn't let that stop him! He walks well on the leash and was mostly interested in cuddling and playing with me. He is wiggly and happy in and out of the kennel. He also seemed interested in the other dogs nearby." Abe attended playgroup on 7/24. He had a playstyle of gentle/dainty and rough/rowdy. He would sometimes get a burst of energy, run, and jump around with the group, or he would chill and lay out to relax. All of his interactions were friendly interactions and he did not need any handler corrections or redirections.
