My Story

Abe has found his forever home with Leda and James N. in Attleboro, MA

UPDATE 3/25: Abe is on his way north this week so please apply for this great big lover boy now!

Abe, short for Abercrombie, is a four year old black lab. He weighs 90 lbs. He was dumped close to the the rescue in the south and was discovered when bags of food were disappearing. He was shy at first but now is as trusting as ever! He has medium to high energy and loves water, running, and playing catch. He gets along great with all dogs. His foster mom calls him a "gentle giant." He is housebroken and crate trained. His adoption fee is $350.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.

If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on the Paypal button below. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
