UPDATE!!!! *******************************************
April 16, 2006 - Maddy has been adopted!!!
********************************************************
Introducing Abby & Maddy, 2 loving girls that were turned over to Rescue due to some family issues.
Please note: We wanted to adopt them together but unfortunately that didn't work out and so they are being considered seperately. Abby really must be placed with a home with another dog because she does need a playmate.
In the pictures, Maddy is the bigger girl wearing the blue collar. Abby is wearing the red collar.
According to their foster "Mom", the girls get along great with other dogs, they are friendly with adults and kids, are both housetrained & both will go to their kennel when told. Of the two, Maddy seems a little shy, but it's also been a traumatic few days for them.
Medical wise, both girls seriously needed a dental when brought in and between them they lost 19 teeth. Now they are feeling much better and the infections in their jaws are being brought under control by antibiotics. They are both spayed and they are up to date with their shots.
If you are interested in this or any other dog being fostered by IGCA Rescue - Colorado, please contact our state Rescue Coordinator (Tracy -
