Abby ended up at a high-kill shelter because her owner was moving. She seemed confused and depressed. The shelter volunteers quickly figured out that she was deaf.? But that didn't slow Abby down. She enjoyed getting out into the shelter's play yard, playing fetch, and interacting with other dogs. And she loved getting baths!? But a deaf dog shouldn't be in the shelter for 8 months. So Outta the Cage rescued her, and she is now in a foster home learning sign language and hoping for an adopter.? Abby is a 4-year-old pittie mix. She is an active girl who would do well in a home with a yard, older kids, and other calm dogs. A neighborhood walk twice a day would suit her fine. She loves to smell all the smells!? And, of course, she won't be the one barking during fireworks or when your gardener comes. She's house trained, crate trained, and ready for her forever family!?
