Abbey

Hi, my name is Abbey! My owner died so I was a little hesitant in my foster home the first couple days, but I'm coming around. I LOVE hanging out with my foster dad watching TV and just lounging. I'm excellent at fetch and will drop the ball so you can throw it again and again and again and again, well until your arm gets tired. I'm good with kids and other dogs and I enjoy going on walks. My nose is constantly on the ground sniffing everything around me and looking in the sky at birds. My owner's friends said I am hunt trained and e-collar trained, but GPPR hasn't had a chance to test it out yet. I listen very well and respond to commands quickly, eager to please my family. I'm house trained and love riding in the car. I am crate trained, but I mostly sleep on my foster parents' bed. Ok, I know I sound absolutely perfect, and I am, I promise! A couple other things that you should probably know.... I do okay on a leash, but I could use some work because I get distracted with all the smells and will drag you on my adventure. I don't bark very often, but when I think there is something outside you needs to know about, I will bark and get your attention. I'm not a fan of loud thunderstorms or fireworks. They make me anxious so I need a family who will make me feel safe during them. That's it! See, I really am amazing.
