My Story

ALL THE PUPPIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. 10 Black lab puppies Ten tiny black Labrador retriever puppies came to The Ark of Hope Rescue when they were only a few days old. Their mother is an AKC registered Lab and the father was a neighbors Chocolate lab, The mother dog had mastitis which made it unsafe for the puppies to continue nursing. The owners of the mother dog did not want to or have the time to deal with 10 puppies who needed to be fed every two hours. Our vets office called and asked if we would take them on….and the rest is history. There are 5 male puppies and 5 females. All way too precious! They were born on March 27, 2010 and will be ready for adoption on or about May 22nd. If you are interested in adopting one of these little beauties go to www.arkofhoperescue.org Click on “Our Adoption Procedure” then go to the bottom of the page and fill out the email easy, “ Dog Adoption Application” and click send. You can also call Dianne at 301-478-3300, for more information and puppy availability. Pictures will be posted soon!
