My Story

This cute little guy is labeled as a Feist (meaning mixed-breed) in our computer, but I am tempted to call him an Italian Greyhound mix after having him out and getting a good look at him. He is about one year old and is a neat grey brindle with white. He is full grown at right around 20 lbs. He seems to be a good boy who uses the bathroom outside for us. He has a docked tail. He will be available for adoption on 11/5/2007.

The adoption fee on a dog over the age of four months is $46.00 (if you live outside the city limits of Springdale, the fee is $41.00). This includes a voucher for a Rabies vaccination from a veterinarian and also a $10 off spay/neuter voucher also to be used at a veterinarian's office. If you live inside the city limits of Springdale, you will also receive a voucher for a city license to be issued upon proof of Rabies vaccination by a licensed veterinarian.

If the dog is under four months of age, the fee for adoption is $35.00. This includes a $10 off spay/neuter voucher.

Each dog/puppy that is released from Springdale Animal Services will be recieve their combination vaccination and also be de-wormed using Strongid-T. Please visit your veterinarian for boosters and any additional de-worming treatment needed. We also recommend taking the dog to a veterinarian for a wellness check-up within 72 hours. Exchanges are only allowed for medical reasons as specified by the veterinarian.

**Springdale Animal Services would like to remind you that Rabies vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian are required on a yearly basis for all cats and dogs! Proof of Rabies vaccination must be provided before you are issued a city license!**
