'Hoss'

Hoss is a year old (-turned a year old month of May) AKC registered black and tan saddleback (nice 'n solid!) tall, big strapping handsome fella on the extra LG side, once fully grown he'll be weighing about 110 lbs! He will come with all of his papers. Hoss is an owner surrender due to the couple not having enough time for him! His previous owners can be contacted upon adoption. Hoss' personality is super sweet and affectionate, he is very giving and so goofy, nicely people oriented, very friendly. Wellnatured, mellow and laidback. No hyperness at all! He's a typical year old pre-teen though! Happy, outgoing, curious, inquisitive and loves to go places to meet other people and dogs, loves his car rides! Hoss is not good with cats or small dogs but loves his fellow shepherd pals! Hoss adores children and play fetch with them, but is not known with small pitter patter feet. Hoss is house and crate trained and knows his basic commands but will tug if not walked by someone he feels respect for! He will "auto sit" on heel when you stop walking and will give paw for "hello", he will also sit and wait to be "OK'd to eat! He's got a very deep bark and will sound off on anything that he might find suspicious but is in general not a barker otherwise! He's a good kiddo and need people that understand the German Shepherd Dog breed's general psyche and mentality. Hoss is property territorial and will sentry his perimeter on a daily basis! Hoss is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
