She was adopted out, only to be dumped at a shelter in another state. As soon as we heard that she was at another shelter, we brought Ellie back into our care. From what we have gathered from the shelter accompanied with our own experience with her, it is because she needs a home without other dogs. She is extremely dog selective, therefore she would need a very slow and supervised introduction to any other dogs. This being said, she has made friends with a Great Dane at the rescue! Ellie loves all humans that she meets, and she likes to jump up for hugs and pets. She would do best in a home with older kids. Ellie needs some help on her leash training because she likes to jump into the air and pull when she is excited. Ellie would love a home where she can snuggle up with her people in blankets, and go play in a big yard of her own! She is a smart girl that loves treats, so she will be easy to train. Ellie was born in 2018 and is located at the rescue in Justin, TX. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.
