Phoebe is a beautiful, 7 year old, domestic short hair, spayed, declawed cat with special needs, as she can be quite bossy and opinionated at times. She requires a home with someone that is very experienced with cats. She should do very well in a quite home with just one person. If you’re a person with a good deal of cat savvy, please consider giving her a chance. Once her trust in you has been established, she can be very sweet and affectionate. If you are willing to give her a try, you could start the process by simply fostering her to give her time to develop a trusting relationship with you. We have been told that she gets along ok with other cats and before coming into foster care, she lived with a dog without difficulties. Phoebe needs someone to help her find happiness.
Note: All applications are processed in the order received, but an adoption is made to the best application received for each of our animals. All applicants must provide a vet reference on the adoption application. If you are adopting a dog from ARFA, a fenced in yard for the dog will be required. Home visits often occur on each adoption. ARFA has the right to deny adoption to any applicant for any reason without explantion.
