Hi! It’s me Zuma! I am 1.5 years old and ready to find my forever family! A little about my past, I came to ACBS when I was found to have severe glaucoma and needed a double eye enucleation. My surgery was almost 2 months ago and I am completely healed! Since I am blind I do need a little bit of a special home. I have acclimated wonderfully to my foster home but still need some help sometimes. I have mastered 3 stairs which can get up and down when I want but sometimes will still bump into things. I get a bit overwhelmed when a lot of people are around and am not sure what to do. I am very snuggly and LOVE to be held especially if you scratch my face! I am in a home with cats and do fine as long as they don’t bother me. I haven’t been around dogs so unless they are older and very laid-back I would prefer no dogs. Children who are old enough to respect my needs and understand that I need a little extra care should be fine.
