This is a bonded pair, they must be adopted together.
There will be a home check and adoption contract with the person who currently is helping the cats. Sadly they belonged to someone who became homeless and isn't able to care for them. The person currently taking care of them can't keep them. The Fauna Foundation will provide the adopter with a microchip for each of the cats-depending on where you take the cats to get chipped it might be free, we will work with you on this aspect. There will be a small rehoming fee.
Here's what he wrote to us:
Mika ( mee-kah) and Zuko (zoo-koh)
3 1/2 years old brother ad sister
spayed/ neutered / vacinated
not microchipped
they are litter box trained
I’m not sure how they are with other cats or dogs
They have been together their whole life and as they have bounced around in their foster care journey I would love to see them get to stay together.
Zuko, the male, is strong very curious and smart. He wants to play and explore. he will follow me around waiting for me to grab the cat toy and run him around the house. Recently started playing with a laser and he loves it.
Mika is soft fluffy and enjoys being around people. She’s sweet and more docile. She loves her brother.
Both of them are a little shy at first but are friendly and open up to new people quickly.
Their owner became homeless and we took them in to keep them from going to the pound..
