Zorro was found by a local veterinary technician walking in circles in the middle of a street in Springfield. At first she thought there was something seriously wrong with him, but then she realized that he was blind. She took him into the veterinary clinic where she worked, and oddly enough they recognized the cat as he had been a patient when he was a kitten. He passed through a few owners, and clearly the last person just put him outside. The fine folks at the vet's office contacted Paws Animal Shelter, and we naturally took him in. One of our board members has a blind cat, and she said he gets around her house just fine. Clearly he needs to be shown changes if you rearrange the furniture, but otherwise he acts just like her other cats. Zorro is currently in our office as he learns his way around. We'll open the door soon so he can join the other cats in our lobby. He is as sweet a cat as you could ask for, and he loves to play, so he's really just a typical young cat!
