Hello! My name is Zoonie! My finders thought I needed an exotic name to match my exotic look. I have a quiet and endearing nature. I get along with other cats and older more mellow dogs. You wouldn’t know it to look at me, but I was found wandering the woods and searching for food in dumpsters.

Pet Adoptions

Have you been thinking about adding a pet to your family? Why not save a dog or cat in need of a home by adopting from the St. Mary's Animal Welfare League?

All of our animals are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on shots. The adoption fees are as follows: Dogs-$150, Cats-$125. This tax deductible donation helps to cover the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, health checks and other medical needs. Download an application at www.smawl.org and email it to the contact address for the pet you are interested in adopting. Please be patient as our response time may be slow. Our entire organization is run by volunteers. We have no paid staff, so we must return phone calls and emails around our full time jobs and families. We will be in touch as soon as possible though.
