Zoey

Zoey aka Zo is a sweet n' sleek, certified #longgorl with bold black stripes and a few rosette spots on her belly and back, against short, soft tan-silver fur. She was rescued from the streets of Boyle Heights mid-November 2023 when she was just too friendly and affectionate to be returned to a rough area as part of a TNR project at 5.5 months old. Have you ever thought about astrology for cats? Well, Zo(ey) lives up to her Gemini sign with the duality of being a cuddly, social, and vocal, but also an acrobatic, determined hunter. She is very interactive and smart in playing with people and other cats. Zo must go to a home with another young and/or easy-going and playful cat. Zo is expressive, intelligent, and has amazing agility and speed. She hangs with the young resident boy cats the best, from testing out new parkour and wrestling moves, as well as seeking them out for naps to snuggle and loves to be groomed by them. Zoey still finds time in her busy play schedule to seek out affection from her human companions - enjoys being pet, curiously check-ins on human activities, and cuddles in the morning before breakfast. She will happily sleep with you for half the night, but prefers being outside the bedroom with her cat pals now that she's a teen. This gal is growing like a weed, with subtle changes every week as she matures, but has a while yet to go before she's a full-sized adult. However old she is when she finds her forever home, she is sure to still have her youthful enthusiasm for play and meal time. Zo needs a catified forever home and guardians committed to engagement and enrichment.
